Dr. Jackson, a native of Oak Cliff, graduated from Sunset High School in 1968 and Baylor University in 1972. He then attended pharmacy school at the University of Texas, taught mathematics in two private schools and graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1978.

Dr. Jackson's Memberships in dentistry include:

Currently:

▪ Dr. Jackson also lectures extensively throughout the United States, teaching family and pediatric dentists general orthodontics, TMD, marketing, and practice management, and how to incorporate orthodontics into their dental practices.  He has lived in Rockwall/Heath over 30 years.  He is married to his wife of 29 years, Beth (A personal trainer at the Rockwall YMCA).  They have three children: (David II – 25 – teacher; Sarah – 22 – a senior  at the University of North Texas and hoping to attend dental school; and Daniel – 19, a sophomore at the University of Texas at Arlington and a student of Jujitsu).  Dr. Jackson also practices orthodontics at Royse City Dental Care and Farmersville Dental Group.

Dr. Jackson brings reality as well as humor in his dentistry. As he was a schoolteacher for a few years, his desire to teach and share with others has never died.

His insight to the real world of orthodontics in the general practice is honest and informative.
